Mechanical Engineers (Ref: 101)

Mechanical Engineers (Ref: 101): Provide consultations on cases/claims for clients; Inspect sites, vehicles, and other evidence for the purposes of forensic investigation; Provide detailed scientific analysis of evidence and materials related to cases/claims; Provide testimony in deposition and trial based on inspections and analysis of cases/claims; Develop professional client base and maintain client relations through routine correspondence; Properly record and submit all work-related time and expense entries using FET’s time management & billing system; Promptly review and submit invoices for assigned projects; Assist with collections of accounts receivable related to assigned projects; Regularly meet with assigned administrative assistant for updates on assignment and project status; Provide periodic performance evaluations of assigned administrative assistant.

Tools: Michigan 3D (also known as 3DSSPP), PC Crash, Vector Works, Bosch EDR kit, Heavy vehicle EDR kit.

Minimum Education: Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, Bioengineering or related engineering field.

Minimum experience: Two (2) years. Two (2) years of experience must include two (2) years of experience in Michigan 3D (also known as 3DSSPP), PC Crash, Vector Works, Bosch EDR kit, Heavy vehicle EDR kit.
